monitor woes

i'm so lucky....my monitor went out this morning - it's been acting funny for a week or so - it's the power in it - i was doing some reading on reviews of this monitor and interestingly enough - about 20 people had the same problem..and of course, just out of warranty.

some of the people were not so nice and actually suggested gateway knows about this problem and just won't fix it. sucks that it was 500 dollar monitor and didn't last 2 years!

i'm off to fry's this morning for a replacement!

Connie's Garden....

Went to Connie and David's on Saturday, to celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary. she is doing well, but not doing well. ALS is so cruel. Here is a picture from her garden that just....said something.

the past week....

the past week has been crazy. a trip to new hampshire and back, 3 wedding albums, post processing all the head shots - and today, it's a hotel conference for 3 hours, then the entire weekend is a ballroom dancing competition and an anniversary party for my brother and his wife!

whew!

i hope next week is calmer.
